Get to Know a SetSailor: Taylor Chan, Talent Sourcer

One SetSail team member shares an "About Me" presentation on most Mondays. It's a beloved zoom ritual that helps us get to know one another as whole people (background, friends, family, furbabies, weird hobbies, goals, you get it!). While nerve-racking when you are next up in the lineup, this focused time at the start of each week builds trust and respect amongst our SetSail crew.

Today, we are taking the next step in celebrating our intelligent and unique team members by giving them the mic. You will hear from them directly in ongoing "Get to Know a SetSailor" feature videos. We hope you enjoy learning more about our colleagues and see for yourself why they are such valuable humans and teammates.

Up first: Taylor Chan, Talent Sourcer, SetSail People Team

Taylor joined SetSail one year ago and is responsible for recruiting. Her bonkers stats include outreach to an estimated 100 candidates per week and scheduling and managing 8-10 interviews a day alongside her manager, Jonathan Palm. She enjoys working cross-functionally with every department and manager. So far, she has personally sourced more than 10 percent of SetSail's headcount, and that number continues to trend up!
